The Ridge Volunteer Rescue Squad is continuously seeking help and/or donations to maintain a part of Saint Mary’s county history!  Ambulance 48 served the First District for many years and was eventually replaced with more modern ambulances.  After the 2001 Squad building fire, Ambulance 48 was forced outside where nature took its ugly toll.  The motor/transmission was overhauled, many of the rubber pieces had to be replaced and the body required large amounts of rust repair along with a complete exterior paint job.  To keep Ambulance 48 serviceable, we are always looking for help (money, parts, labor, etc.), so please contact us at e-mail info@ridgevrs.org or call 301-872-5970 if you can help.  To make a monetary donation, please send to:
