The Ridge Volunteer Rescue Squad (Co49) was able to participate in the Southern Maryland Volunteer Firemen's Association 2022 Parade with three of our vehicles. We were able to get our Chief's SUV EMS49, Ambulance 498 and our Retired Ambulance 48. Our Retired Ambulance 48 is a 1972 Miller-Meteor Cadillac that has served the St. Mary's community for 50 years. Ambulance 498 is a 2019 Ford F-550 and is our last edition to the Rescue Squad. EMS49 is a 2008 Ford Expedition that serves as our Chief's SUV and Rapid Responder Vehicle. During the parade, our Ambulance 498 took the "Best Appearing Ambulance (Medium/Light Duty) and EMS49 took the "2nd Best Appearing Rapid Responder" trophies.
