New Ambulance Placed in Service
By RVRS
April 19, 2019
As of 1800 hrs, 4/19/19, The Officers and Members of the Ridge Volunteer Rescue Squad are proud to place into service a 2019 Horton Type 1 Ambulance. This Ambulance was purchased through Fesco Emergency Sales and is mounted on a Ford F-550 Chassis. The unit is equipped with an all LED lighting package, dual sirens, a Stryker Power-Load Stretcher, and a Liquid Spring Suspension. This unit is designated as Ambulance 498.
We are very Thankful to the Community for your continued support! Support from the community helps make all of this possible so we can provide the best emergency care possible. New Ambulance 498 replaces our 2001 Ambulance 498 that was the replacement unit when we lost our building April 2001 to a Fire. Special Thanks to the Ambulance committee for your countless hours on making this possible and also Special Thanks to President Debbie Drury & Chief Mandy Purdy for supporting the members and working hard to make all possible for the future of Ridge VRS.
