Ridge VRS places new ambulance in service.

The officers and members of the Ridge Volunteer Rescue Squad are proud to place in service Ambulance 496.
Ambulance 496 is a 2010 Horton 553 Type III ambulance mounted on a 2010 Ford E-450 Super Duty chassis with a 6.0 liter diesel engine. The chassis is equipped with: a 14' Horton Box with 72" Interior Head Room; Electronic Privacy Windows; Back Up Alarm; Reverse Camera with Monitor in Cab; Auto Snow Chains; Horton "Intelliplex" Multiplex Electrical System; Electric Door Locks on all doors and compartments; on board Child Safety Seat; Horton Occupant Protection System (HOPS); Complete LED Emergency Warning Light package including: Whelen front and rear LED light bars, LED Warning Lights on Compartment and Access Door interior panels that flash when open, LED lighted Rub Rails, and Super LED Grille Lights; Whelen electronic Siren; Electrical Inverter for on-board current; Separate HVAC System for Patient Compartment; Electronic O2 lift for M-Bottle.
